The prompt critic

Type a prompt; it grades it on specifics, role, examples, format, and constraints — and tells you what would make it better.

Specifics
Add specifics: who, what, when. A one-line prompt usually gets a one-line idea back.
Role / persona
Try assigning a role: "You are an editor reviewing..." gives the model a stance.
Examples
Add 1–2 examples of what good looks like. Models steal patterns from examples better than from descriptions.
Format request
Ask for a specific format. "In three bullets" or "as a 2-paragraph email" beats "write something."
Constraints
Tell it what NOT to do. "Don't use marketing language" is more useful than "be honest."
